Proficos NV and its partners, Zennish White House and Metro Colour Cosmetics, are proud to announce the constitution of the PMZ Group. The three companies will still be operating separately, but will be able to better manage multiregional projects that might need Proficos’ expertise and production in Asia, especially for the Asian market.

Proficos NV is a Belgian family owned company amongst the most competent in the cosmetic industry, well known for its multi-category expertise and its extreme flexibility. It was founded in 1967 by the Van den Brande’s family and over time, it has made Skin Care Products and Fragrances its core business. As well as the three plants in Heist-op-den-Berg (Belgium), the facility in Huizhou (China) in joint venture with Zennish White House, and a joint venture factory in Tainan (Taiwan) with Metro Cosmetics, Proficos NV also owns a share in Soprodal.

Zennish White House is a family company and part of the Hung Choy Cosmetic Manufacturing Co., Ltd with more than 20 years’ experience in the cosmetic industry. The Zennish White House factory in Huizhou was built in 2003 with a pharmaceutical focus and is one of the few in China with such high GMP Standards (Clean Room Class 100000). The new colour cosmetic Factory that was built last year jointly with Proficos has now been completed and is currently running some production tests on each of the brand new machines. It will be completely operational under the same GMP standards by the end of the year. The whole investment totaled well above 1,000,000 euro.

Metro Cosmetics is also a family company based in Tainan, founded more than 40 years ago and specialized in all kinds of colour cosmetics, particularly in baked powders. The Company is currently finalizing the complete renovation of its own factory and is now starting to implement the 19 Key elements Quality System in order to guarantee the same high level of quality and service to all of the Group’s customers.

The PMZ Group successfully atttended the Cosmoprof Fair in Hong Kong from November 12 to November 14 2008 and representatives of the three companies were present to introduce the Group, its potential and, of course, its outstanding innovative products.
